Mud Into Gold

Ceramic original; 24" height by 12" by 10"; low fire glazes and 24 kt. gold on surface.

Coffee is at times referred to as "mud", other times "gold." With the foundation of a cup of coffee supporting the world, this sculpture speaks of artificial stimulants uplifting our world economically, politically and in the literal sense of today’s hyper pace. This work is available as an inexpensive print, 11" by 17", signed by the artist.
